ISLAMABAD: Three men attacked two unarmed labourers with knives, stabbing one of them to death while seriously wounding the other. Police said the incident took place in Farash Town and the men in the two groups were related to each other. “They were cousins and were all working as labourers,” said a police official. Although police are not certain of the exact reason behind the clash, they believe it was “some minor dispute” that incited the attack. Javed, Waqas and Rasool attacked Arshad Ali and Sherzaman with knives. Ali died on the spot while Zaman was taken to a hospital with serious injuries. All three suspects, hailing from Karak district in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, escaped after the attack and were not arrested till last report came in.
