Hockey: Junior team off to Malaysia

The team’s manager-cum-head coach Rana Mujahid hoped that the team will shine on the tour.

KARACHI: The Pakistan junior team left for Malaysia where they will take on the hosts as well as South Korea ahead of the next month’s Junior Asia Cup. The team, led by goal-keeper Mazhar Abbas, will play three matches against Malaysia besides facing the Koreans twice. The team’s manager-cum-head coach Rana Mujahid hoped that the team will shine on the tour. “The players have worked very hard in the camp,” said the Olympian. “This tour is significant as it will prepare us for the Junior Asia Cup.”
