The Pakistan Peoples Party district leaders have been called to Karachi to finalise a strategy and the name of a party candidate to contest the by-election for PS-60 Diplo.
PPP Tharparkar district president, MNA Dr Mahesh Malani, Fakeer Sher Muhammad Bilalani, former MPA Engineer Gianchand and Muhammad Khan Loond have been directed to present proposals so that a name of candidate could be decided and announced. The PS-60 seat fell vacant after Arbab Ghulam Rahim was disqualified for his prolonged absence from the assembly session.
