Two bandits killed in Old City area

Police shot dead two alleged dacoits in an encounter in Ghas Mandi area of Old City late on Monday night.

Police shot dead two alleged dacoits in an encounter in Ghas Mandi area of Old City, within Napier police limits, late on Monday night.

SHO Imdad Ali Khawaja said that the bandits were robbing passers-by when the police reached them and asked them to surrender. However, the two men started firing and were hit when police officials returned fire. They were taken to Civil hospital, where they died.
