KARACHI:

Around two people were killed while four others were injured in a clash between the residents of Siddiq Goth and the banned Peoples Amn Committee in Rafa-e-Aam Society on Saturday, said the Al-Falah police.

The incident took place over a piece of land reserved for a school. According to SHO Asif Munawar, tension gripped the area when PAC activists tried to take over the land.

The residents felt threatened and tried to talk them out of it.

However, when this failed, both groups attacked each other. PAC workers Latif Baloch, 55, and Nabeel alias Zehrila died while 24-year-old Riazul Haq, Shakoor, 25, Lal Mohammad, 24, and 25-year-old Shehzad were injured and taken to Jinnah Postgraduate Hospital.
