Khosa Talks To Media: Insulting Zardari is like insulting Army

Khosa was speaking at the inauguration of an executive office of the Nadra.

DERA GHAZI KHAN:
“The president of Pakistan is also the supreme commander of the Pakistan armed forces. To write against him is to insult the Pakistan army,” Governor Sardar Latif Khan Khosa said on Saturday. Khosa was speaking at the inauguration of an executive office of the National Database Registration Authority. He lashed out at the PML-N and called them the “GT Road party”. He said that the PML-N was destabilising the country by opposing the formation of the Seraiki province as well as their undue criticism of the president of Pakistan. Talking about sending a letter to the Swiss government, he said that the president enjoyed immunity granted by the parliament. “Those who want to send a letter against the president should pursue the withdrawal of the president’s immunity in parliament,” he said. He also criticised Nawaz Sharif for distributing laptops purchased by the government, saying Sharif could not do so as he was not a member of the government.
