MQM to agitate against extortionists, feudal patrons
The MQM had called an emergency meeting of its cooridnation committees in Karachi and London in which they decided to agitate against extortionist mafia, who, the MQM alleged, had patrons amongst some of the feudal lords in Sindh. Some of these feudals, they claimed, sat in the Sindh Assembly.
The statement read that while the MQM was demonstrating restraint on the orders of party leader Altaf Hussain, otherwise, they warned, that they could very well handle the situation on their own.
Accusing some members of the Sindh Assembly as treating the coalition as they way ground, MQM warned that this practice must be desisted, otherwise they could withdraw from the assembly.
It also invited the public to join their agitation against extortion on Friday.

I am from KHI and i can tell you that MQM is pretty much involved (as much as PPP ANP as well).
People above who are trying to be smart and putting these "non karachiite" divisions stop fooling yourself and others

All Commentors from outside Karachi .Pray check the the crime records and FIRS of Karachi’s police stations and talk to the Business Communities 90% of the crimes are committed in Karachi ( especially Extortion ) by thugs from Interior Sindh and Upcountry . 90% of the SHOs of Karachi are from Interior Sindh and upcountry .

Good Move by MQM.
Every sector get there monthly from the shops of area market and its they called the protection from others groups so simple and easy meaning in karachi has been divided in dif parties areas and its a no go area for other parties karachi need big time operation against all parties no matter its a MQM or ANP or jaye sindh PPP. its can lyari, azizabad, laloo khet. baldia town. orangi town kati pahari or pahar gang.
