Cricket: RLCA record win in inter-academy T20

KARACHI: Spinner Muhammad Asad bagged five wickets as RLCA Karachi beat MKA by 33 runs in their NBP Under-17 Inter-Academy T20 Tournament match at the RLCA ground in Gulberg. Batting first, RLCA Karachi made 131 for six as Wajahat Khan top-scored with 46 and Shazer Hassan chipped in with 39. In reply, MKA could only manage 98 for nine in 20 overs, with Asad being the stand-out bowler for the victors. Meanwhile, PIA Academy posted a nine-wicket win against Sindh Police Academy, chased down a 70-run target with ease.
