Dozens of people staged a demonstration on Narwala Road on Tuesday to protest the killing of a jeweller during a robbery at his shop on Monday.
The protesters put up barriers and blocked the road for traffic for over an hour. They said the police had failed to control rising incidents of robberies in the area.
