Bridge: Solox down The Allana to go top

Solox took the lead in the National Bridge Team Championship after defeating The Allana 25-0 in the third round.

KARACHI: Solox took the lead in the National Bridge Team Championship after defeating The Allana 25-0 in the third round and securing a fourth-round bye. Solox accumulated 79 Victory Points (VPs) to displace The Allana, who had won their two opening fixtures. The latter slipped to third position with 69 VPs following a 21-9 fourth-round win against Chandna. Meanwhile, Precision Marathon climbed up to second place with 72 VPs after registering successive victories. The team outclassed Tanveer 69-3 in the third round before defeating Century Insurance 50-41 in their next fixture.
