Fatal fire: Elderly man dies from burn injuries

SP Madina Town Chaudhry Tahir Maqsood said the body had been sent for a post mortem examination.

FAISALABAD: An elderly man died on Friday from burn injuries he had suffered in a fire at his sugarcane field in Chak Jhumra police station precincts. The family of Abdullah, 70, alleged that he was murdered. They accused men from a rival family of setting the crop on fire. SP Madina Town Chaudhry Tahir Maqsood said the body had been sent for a post mortem examination.
