Property dispute: Woman killed ‘by step-son’
Arshad had wanted his father to transfer the property in his name and not to divide it between him and his step-mother
FAISALABAD:
A woman was killed in Sitiana police station precincts on Thursday allegedly by her step-son over a property dispute. According to the FIR, Arshad shot and killed Rehani Bibi, second wife of his father Muhammad Shafiq, in Chak 77-GB and fled from the scene. Shafiq had expelled Arshad from his house after the two developed differences over distribution of the former’s property. Arshad had wanted his father to transfer the property in his name and not to divide it between him and his step-mother. Sitiana police said they had registered a case and started searching for the suspect.
