Bilateral talks leading to improved Af-Pak relations: Gilani
Says steps taken by both the countries to bring peace and stability to the region are satisfactory.

Improved relations between Afghanistan and Pakistan are result of bilateral talks between the leaders of the two countries, said Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani on Friday.
Speaking to media in Multan, Gilani said that the governments of Pakistan and Afghanistan are trying to bring the two neighbours closer together and to strengthen their ties.
Gilani, who is in the city for a three-day tour, expressed satisfaction over the steps taken by both the countries to bring peace and stability to the region.
“Seeing the efforts by leaders from both sides, I can say that future relations between Pakistan and Afghanistan are bright,” Gilani said.
Senate votes sold
Regarding the accusation about votes for Senate election "being sold", Gilani said he was completely unaware of the allegation. “I must be on my way to Multan when the opposition leader have had passed the remarks,” Gilani stated.
