Tragedy: Govt employee shot dead

DASU: A government employee was shot dead in Dasu on Saturday evening. His relatives later blocked the Karakoram Highway, suspending traffic on Gilgit-Mansehra Road for over two hours. According to the police, Tehsil Municipal Administration employee Gul Shehzad was on his way home when he was shot by assailants. Shehzad’s relatives blocked the highway, demanding the case to be transferred to the district police officer Kohistan. They said despite the murder taking place a few yards from the police station, the police failed to arrest the culprits.
