Catching up: Forensic department to be upgraded

KARACHI: The Sindh police have decided to upgrade its forensic division, in a meeting which was presided over by Sindh IG Syed Mushtaq Shah.

The forensic division AIG Muneer Shaikh presented recommendations for modernising the department. The equipment includes integrated ballistics identification systems, criminal laboratory management systems, comparator for handwriting examination, forensic photography cameras, laboratory type fuming and investigation kits.
