Future leaders shine at Sanghar Model UN
Students debate national, global challenges, build diplomacy skills

Cadet College Sanghar hosted a three-day Model United Nations conference aimed at promoting debate, diplomacy and leadership skills among students, drawing participants from leading academic institutions across the country.
The Sanghrites Model United Nations (SMUN-VII), held from February 12 to 14, concluded with a ceremony attended by Nadeem-ur-Rehman Memon, Secretary of the College Education Department Sindh.
The conference featured structured debates, public speaking sessions and committee simulations designed to strengthen critical thinking, negotiation, teamwork and leadership abilities. A total of 290 delegates from eight institutions participated, while senior trainers and speakers supervised and evaluated proceedings. Delegates were divided into six committees, including the Pakistan National Assembly, UN Human Rights Council, UN Security Council and UN Women, where they debated key national and international issues and presented resolutions followed by media briefings.
