Sindh asks for transfer of al Qaeda member Major Haroon from Punjab

Sindh government has requested Punjab to transfer an alleged al Qaeda member Major Haroon to Sindh, sources said on Sunday.
The Sindh Home Ministry wrote a letter to the Punjab Home Department to transfer Haroon, a former Pakistan army officer who is accused of being involved in the kidnapping of businessman Satish Anand, amongst other high profile cases against him.
Anand, a rich Hindu businessman, was kidnapped from Karachi in 2008 for a ransom of Rs20 million.
