LAHORE: Plan Pakistan and the Youth Affairs, Sports, Archaeology and Tourism Department signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Saturday to set up the Youth Helpline. The toll free helpline will provide career advice and counseling to young people. The MOU was signed by Dr Allah Bakhsh Malik, the department’s secretary, and Rashid Javed, Plan Pakistan’s country director. Malik said that young people needed help in choosing a career. He said the project showed the Punjab government’s “commitment to youth-friendly initiatives”.
