Target killings: Three people shot dead

The first incident occurred on the Chagla Street, in Kharadar, where suspects opened fire on Muhammad Ali, Gul Bahar.

KARACHI: Three persons, including an activist of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM), gunned down in different areas of the city on Thursday. The first incident occurred on the Chagla Street, in Kharadar, where suspects opened fire on Muhammad Ali, 32, and 22-year-old Gul Bahar, who were sitting on a tea stall. They were taken to Civil Hospital. According to Inspector Akbar, Ali was a resident of Kharadar Square and a worker of the MQM’s unit 3-A in Ranchore Line sector.  A man identified as Waqas, was injured by suspects in Jodia Bazaar. No case was registered till the filing of this report.  In another incident, a young man was shot dead near Hussaini Mission Imambargah in the limits of Shah Faisal Colony police.
