KARACHI: Academic activities at the Federal Urdu University of Arts, Science and Technology (FUUAST) came to a halt yet again on Friday, on the call of its teachers’ society. Teachers at both the Gulshan-e-Iqbal and Abdul Haq campuses wore black armbands in support of the Sindh University’s faculty’s demands. The FUUAST teachers’ society president, Dr Abdul Ghafoor Baloch, said that the education minister should avoid treating the teachers in an authoritarian manner. Earlier, the faculties of Karachi University and FUUAST held a teaching boycott on February 13.
