Inflation: Weekly inflation figures show increase
The SPI for combined groups registered an increase of 0.17 per cent.
ISLAMABAD:
The Sensitive Price Indicator (SPI) for the lowest income groups registered a nominal 0.11 per cent increase for the week ended on February 16. According to provisional figures from the Federal Bureau of Statistics, the SPI for the aforementioned income group for the week was recorded at 169.67 points, against 169.48 points in the previous week. The SPI for combined groups registered an increase of 0.17 per cent, and went up from 178.51 points in the previous week to 178.81 points this week.
