Drug Den Uncovered: Grenade attack at Khuzdar house

Police have registered a case against unidentified people and started an investigation into the matter.

QUETTA: A house allegedly used as a drug den was attacked with a hand grenade in Khuzdar, some 310km southeast of Quetta, on Friday. However, no one was hurt in the attack. According to some reports, unidentified armed men riding a motorbike hurled the explosive at the residence owned by Abdul Wahab in Kattan area of Khuzdar. The grenade landed inside the house and exploded, smashing the windowpanes. However, no loss of life was reported. The assailants escaped following the incident.  Police and law enforcement agencies rushed to the blast site after being informed and cordoned off the area. No group has claimed responsibility. Police have registered a case against unidentified people and started an investigation into the matter.
