KARACHI:

After the murder of Lyari gangster Baba Ladla’s cousin, Zubair Vehshi, two bodies were found in gunny bags from the Qadri Graveyard on Monday.

The police claim that the men arrived in a vehicle and dumped the bodies near Khajji ground and later fled towards Pak Colony. The police suspect that they were Baloch speaking and could also have been victims of the on-going target killings in the area.

Ladla’s close aide Zubair Vehshi was shot dead in Bihar Colony on Sunday. The police have booked Kutchi Rabta Committee (KRC) members for the murder. Ladla’s brother and other gangsters have also been taken into custody for injuring KRC men during the violence which broke out after Vehshi’s death.

In an unrelated incident, 32-year-old Amjab Baloch was found in a gunny bag by an unidentified young man. He claims that he was beaten up and dumped in the Lyari River in Bihar Colony, said the Chakiwara police. They said that Baloch, a resident of Phool Patti in Baghdadi, claims to have gone to buy milk in Bihar Colony on Sunday night and was abducted. The police are unsure about what really happened. No case was registered when this report was filed.
