Indian media claims Pakistani High Commission has raised the issue of the case against Malik with Indian authorities and has sent a letter to Indian government in this regard. The Indian police had withheld Malik's passport claiming it will not be returned until the investigation is complete.
Meanwhile, Malik's family is preparing to leave for India today to attend his wedding ceremony. The family avoided speaking to the media when questioned about the wedding plans.
