Pakistan's biggest problem is corruption: Imran Khan
PTI chairman repeats that 'every single person' in government is responsible for corruption in the country.
KARACHI:
Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan kept reiterating his stance on Saturday while talking to the media at the Karachi airport. “Pakistan’s biggest problem is corruption.”
Khan held “every single person” in the government responsible for the “rampant” corruption in the country. He said billions “were looted from the country in the past four years… 70 million Pakistanis are living under the poverty line because of this,” he stated.
Emphasising on his support for the judiciary, Khan paid tribute to the chief justice of Pakistan and hoped that someday, the law would supersede the corrupt.
Addressing the prime minister’s contempt of court issue, the party leader said: “The whole drama is being played to hide the theft of one person, [President Asif Ali] Zardari.”
