Shady business: Raid at drug den leads to shoot-out

Men suspected to be drug mafia members attacked Excise and Taxation (E&T) officers, during a raid on Friday.

The raid took place at Shireen Jinnah Colony where the suspects opened fire at the officers and set their vehicle alight. No one was injured.

The E&T director, Abdil Hai Damra, said that the search operation was conducted after information was received about the reopening of a drug den, which was closed two days back by his department.
