Flood Affected Areas: Drinking water schemes completed
The completion of these schemes benefits thousands of people in the district.
PESHAWAR:
The district administration of Upper Dir has successfully completed eight drinking water supply schemes in various flood affected villages of Barawal Tehsil. An access road in the Wari area has also been rehabilitated. The Bagaam link road and drinking water schemes were severely damaged by the 2010 floods, causing immense hardship to the residents of the area. Steps have also been taken to protect the drinking water supply schemes from any future flood damage. The completion of these schemes benefits thousands of people in the district.
