Bhutto’s Legacy: SM Law College to become university

SM Law College is being upgraded to the Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto University of Law.

KARACHI: SM Law College is being upgraded to the Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto University of Law for which 500 acres has been allotted at Education City, said the governor on Monday. This would make it the country’s first law university in Karachi. It will be named after Barrister Bhutto as he was associated with SM Law College. It will initially work from the SM Law College campus. Pir Illahi Bux and Hassan Ali Effendi were instrumental in the creation of SM Law College.
