A month-long Karachi Amn Festival will be organised from February 9, announced the Arts Council on Friday. The event will begin with a Mehfil-e Naat Khawani at the Arts Council. The city commissioner, Roshan Ali Shaikh, said that the image of Karachi as the city of lights will be restored with this festival, with cooperation from the governor, Dr Ishratul Ebad Khan, and the chief minister, Qaim Ali Shah.
