Black box recovered, handed over to CAA

In the latest development into the horrific Airblue crash investigation, the black box has been found on Saturday which is crucial to determine the cause of the disaster.
Sources said that the black box has been handed over to the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA).
Speaking to Express, DG CAA Junaid Amin confirmed the black box that include flight data recorder and cockpit data recorder has also been recovered.
He said since a specialized kind of equipment needed to decode the black box is not available in Pakistan, it will be sent Germany or France to extract the information. He said that the process of extraction can take six months or a year.
Speaking to the media, Islamabad DIG Binyameen said they have handed over all the collected material to the concerned authorities.
Earlier today, a French team reached the crash site to look for the evidence and black box.
