PIA officers to travel in economy class for official tours
The decision is applicable to officers of all categories, who were earlier allowed to travel in business class.
LAHORE:
Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) management, as part of austerity measures, has decided that all its officials will now travel in economy class on both domestic and international routes, PIA spokesman said on Thursday.
The decision is applicable to officers of all categories, who were earlier allowed to travel in business class for their official tours.
This decision has been implemented with immediate effect. However, all other terms and conditions of travelling facilities of employees remain unchanged, the spokesman added.
