Oil Field: Work on Domail-2 suspended
Domail-2 well, which is undergoing a drill stem test, has been suspended.
KARACHI:
Work on Pakistan Oilfield’s Domail-2 well, which was undergoing a drill stem test, has been suspended indicates a PPIS drilling report, says Global Securities analyst Syed Saquib Ali on Tuesday.
Industry sources have confirmed that disappointing flow numbers – 1.3 million cubic feet per day of gas and 60 barrels per day of oil – as the reason behind the suspension. This is in contrast to 6 million cubic feet per day of gas and 550 barrels of oil per day from Domail-1, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa.
