Replacement: New administrator for Lahore DHA

LAHORE: Brigadier Haroon has replaced Brigadier Muhammad Aslam Rana as the administrator of the Defence Housing Authority (DHA) in Lahore while the allotment of four prized commercial plots of the Defence Raya Golf and Country Club has also been cancelled due to ‘unavoidable reasons’. Military sources said the removal of Brigadier Muhammad Aslam Rana was a ‘routine activity’, as he was close to completing his service period. They added that officers have to complete certain formalities before retirement in order to receive benefits. The sources said Brigadier Haroon will assume charge from February 10, 2012.
