The police recovered the body of a boy on Saturday from a stream near Pind Paracha in the outskirts of the city. The Golra police said the boy could not be identified as no identity documents were found on the body.
There were no wounds or torture marks on the body except for a blue mark on the chin, which was formed due to blood clotting at the chin due to extreme pressure exerted on the area or a blow from a blunt object, according to the investigating officer. The officer said that the body was taken to Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences and the police are waiting for doctors to ascertain the cause of death.
He added that the boy appeared to be between 15 and 16 years of age, with a dark complexion and was wearing a white shalwar and red kurta with a brown jersey over it. He added the boy was also wearing red nail polish.
The police also recovered two bottles of oil in an iron stand, normally carried by travelling masseurs, from the spot.
A police official said it was difficult to say how the boy was killed; however, all clues point towards rape-murder.
