Children’s rights: Unicef holds seminar on child labour

A child rights expert from Unicef, Dr Jabeen, said that all stakeholders should struggle for the rights of children and women. She was speaking at a seminar titled, “Child labour and women’s rights” organised by an NGO, Thardeep. Jabeen said that the condition of children was pathetic in Sindh and required serious attention. Imdad Baloch of Save the Children said that the situation can only be helped by making people more aware of their rights. A large number of women and children and office bearers of different NGOs attended the seminar.
