QUETTA: The Frontier Corps (FC) recovered a kidnapped anti-polio campaign worker and seized around 10 kilograms of explosives during a raid at a camp in the Chatter area of Nasirabad. According to the FC spokesman, paramilitary troops, Sibi Scouts, carried out the raid at the camp and recovered the kidnapped health worker named Gulzar. The health worker had been kidnapped by a group of armed men from the Nasirabad area a few days back. There was an exchange of fire between FC personnel and miscreants. “The kidnappers escaped from the scene taking advantage of the darkness on Thursday night,” said the FC spokesman. A wireless set, four chargers and 10 kg of explosives were also recovered.
