PESHAWAR: Six militants were killed and four others were injured when jets bombarded militant hideouts in Garium, North Waziristan Agency, sources said.

Garium which is located some 18 km towards east of Razmak, the main town in North Waziristan Agency is considered to be an area influenced by militancy. According to sources the bombardment took place some two hours after mid day in which at least six militants were killed and four others were reportedly injured.

There were reports of foreign militants in the area, however, this could not be officially confirmed. Security forces have previously been attacked in this particular area.

The strikes come at a time when there are talks of negotiations between the government and the Taliban. North Waziristan is considered to be one of the most dangerous areas throughout the Federally Administered Tribal Area. With limited access to the area the casualties could not be independently verified.

The Pakistani security forces in the area are already involved in an active military surge in Central Kurram and Orakzai Agencies.

@SaudiRules:

Imran Khan has not only opposed Drone strikes but Pakistan Army operations. Still this news has nothing to do with Imran Khan. All of this is being done under PPP government.

Your "F-16" vs. "Air-conditioned Drone Operator" is complete nonsense because the "F-16" could be using "Smart Laser-Guided Precision Bombs" rather than "carpet bombing" an area. No one knows.

The sad logic in your argument is that you don't see a problem with the guy sitting in an air-conditioned room acting as judge, jury and executioner, deciding the fate of another human being without any evidence and repercussions to his decision. What gives him the right to deliberately kill another person? Can Supreme Court of Pakistan reach him??

I don't even support PTI. Just because I have Khan in my name does mean I support Imran Khan.
