Doctors kidnapping : Two doctors recovered from Ghotki
They had been kidnapped from near the vegetable market in Jacobabad on November 20.

Dr Imtiaz Wagan, of Dow University of Health Sciences Karachi, and Dr Azhar Ali Shah, of Ghulam Mohammad Mahar Medical College Sukkur, were recovered after more than a month from the katcha area of Garhi Yasin in Shikarpur district on Sunday night. They had been kidnapped from near the vegetable market in Jacobabad on November 20 when they were on their way to Sukkur. A heavy contingent of police raided the katcha area of Garhi Yasin and found both doctors after an encounter. However, no arrests were reported. The police still haven’t acknowledged the doctors’ recovery till the filing of this report.
