Polo: Quicklink beat Pessi in final

LAHORE: Quicklink defeated Pessi 7-5 in the final of the MMA Polo Cup 2011. The victors drew first blood when Raja Samilullah scored in the first chukker. Atif Yar Tiwana scored an equaliser for Pessi through a spot penalty. However, Samiullah went on the charge as he scored twice in the second chukker, thrice in the third chukker and once in the fourth chukker for Quick Link. Tiwana scored once in the third and twice in the fourth chukker for Pessi but it was not enough to rescue his team. Samiullah was declared the player of the day for his outstanding performance. Meanwhile, Shahsawar defeated Olympia 8-4 in the subsidiary final.
