Green Light: HIF arranges walk against pollution

FAISALABAD: The Huqooqul Ibad Foundation (HIF) arranged a walk against pollution, adulteration and encroachments in the district. HIF chairperson Mehmood Malik led the walk which started from Regal Road and concluded at the Faisalabad Press Club. A large number of students from Government College University (GCU) also participated in the walk and marched on various city roads. The participants were seen holding banners and placards and also staged a sit-in in front of the District Coordination Officer (DCO) and Regional Police Office (RPO). They chanted slogans against encroachments and environmental pollution and called for the local government to take solid steps to improve the environment in the city.
