England series: Major changes unlikely
Selectors, team management content with combination.

The initial discussions between the selection committee and the team management point towards no major changes in Pakistan’s squad for the series against England that starts next month.
Pakistan will play three Tests, three Twenty20s and four One-Day Internationals in the UAE, which is seen as the team’s real test after not having lost any series this year. While a full meeting is yet to take place, the exchange of views on the sidelines of the second Test in Bangladesh have confirmed the reluctance to make major changes for the series.
“Both parties are reluctant against making wholesale changes to the squad given the performance,” an official close to development told The Express Tribune. “They don’t want to tweak the winning combination and showed mutual consent in continuing without major changes.”
However, the official added that some new faces might be given a chance in the UAE. “There have been talks of giving the Quaid Trophy performers a chance.”
The squad will be named at the end of the Test which also marks the end of Pakistan’s tour of Bangladesh.
