Robbery: Two deprived of cash

MANDRA: Two private construction material providers were deprived of cash in the Mandra area on Saturday. Imran Aslam lodged a complaint with the police stating that he and his partner Farooq Khan ran a joint business of construction material. On Saturday, Khan received a call from a potential customer named Irshad, who called them to Tharjial village. When both of them reached the village, Irshad introduced them to Javed, who took them to a hideout, where Irshad, Javed, Major Mushtaq, Mudassir, Faisal, Zahid and their accomplices allegedly held them hostage and snatched Rs514,000 at gunpoint. The police have registered a case against the suspects and started searching for them.
