Young people everywhere have aspirations and can contribute to the betterment of society. To utilise this potential, the Pakistan Red Crescent Society (PRCS) launched a campaign “Find a Volunteer Inside You” to boost community volunteerism, said a press release issued by the society in Islamabad on Friday.

Held in connection with World Volunteers Day, the youth camp aims at mobilising a large number of youth volunteers, said the press release.

“The youth campaign [also] aims to coordinate activities of young people, involve various organisations, promote good volunteer management practices and advocate value of volunteerism in Pakistan,” said PRCS Managing Body Member and Pakistan Telecommunication Authority former chairperson Mian Muhammad Javed on the occasion.

Youth and volunteers from all over the country and the Federally Administered Tribal Areas, Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir participated in the function.
