Another fake degree...

ISLAMABAD: Senior Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Rahim Dad Khan is the latest elected representative to fall prey to the fake degree hunt.

Gomal University declared Khan's graduate degree as fake on Friday.

Higher Education Commission sources say universities have declared degrees of another three senior ministers including Minister for Labour and Sports, as fake.

Final report of the HEC has been presented to the Education Minister Sardar Assef. Details of the report show 46 degrees have been declared fake after verification and 223 degrees have been confirmed as authentic.

Verification of another 10 degrees is in process.

Meanwhile, US and British Universities have denied cooperation in verification of 13 other degrees and have asked for written statement of degree holders.

Under these circumstances, verification process of the degrees may not meet the deadline of July 27th.

zainab nasir | 13 years ago | Reply This fake degree issue should not have beeen raised if th egovt is not willing to remove the culprits now that it is clear who the defaulters are we should all be united against fake degree and its users. This is the only way PPP can come out of this scandal otherwsise PPP is gone.
