Ashura: Stickers issued for all govt vehicles

LAHORE: Punjab government issued stickers to the Police Department as an added security measure during Ashura. No car without the sticker will be allowed to enter the off-limits procession route area. A Home Department official said that the stickers had been issued so that no private car could be used in a terror attack by using a government registration plate. Home Department vehicles will be used to transport charity meals. Sabeels will also be inspected.
