Attari-wagah checkpost: Opening of border trade urged

Indian Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal called upon governments of India and Pakistan to speed up efforts to collaborate and open trade through Attari- Wagah land border, Press Trust of India (PTI) reported. Addressing the valedictory function of Indian PHD-Punjab International Trade Expo 2011 (PITEX 2011), he said that Punjab would certainly pave the way for long-lasting peace in India and Pakistan as governments of both countries were making concerted and sincere efforts in this direction.
