Displaced and disheartened: Villages still submerged in rainwater

Villagers protested at the Badin press club against the administration and demanded immediate drainage of the water.

BADIN:
Twenty villages of the Badin district are still submerged up to six feet deep stagnant rainwater, three months after the heavy rains. Villagers protested at the Badin press club against the administration and demanded immediate drainage of the water. They alleged that the displaced people are kept in makeshift relief camps and are often short on food.
