Protecting our heritage

SWAT: This is with reference to your report of July 21 titled ‘Swat’s Gandhara heritage waits to be protected’. We have been gifted with such a rich history and heritage and we are trying to cut it off forever.

The Egyptian economy runs on their tourism, their government is begging the world to return their stolen artefacts whilst we Pakistanis are willing to destroy our heritage or sell it off for a few mere rupees. Nations disappear from the face of this earth when they let go of their culture and civilisation.
