“The opposition is making the National Reconciliation Ordinance [NRO] an issue for no reason,” he added while talking to Express News.
Last week, the senior leadership of the Pakistan Peoples Party held a brainstorming session at the presidency to chalk out a strategy in the aftermath of the Supreme Court’s rejection of the review petition on the NRO.
The apex court rejected the federation’s review petition on the court’s earlier verdict in 2009, declaring the NRO ‘void ab initio’ and directed the government to immediately implement the court’s decisions – including re-opening the Swiss cases against the Bhutto family and President Zardari.

Had they put this much effort into 'chalking a good strategy' for progress of Pakistan rather than evading NRO, we would have certainly made much more progress in the last 3 years!
Then the govt must goto jail. Law should be same for everyone. If a common citizen can goto jail, then the President should too. Justice for all.
It would be wishful thinking that the government would do otherwise.
