Karachi violence: Two die in Korangi as unknown gunmen open fire
Amir and Majid were standing at a bus stop in Korangi number 5 area when motorcyclists opened fire on them.

Two people were killed as unknown gunmen opened fire in the Korangi area of Karachi on Monday as violence continued for the second day in the city, reported Express 24/7.
According to sources, the two men were standing at a bus stop when assailants riding motorcycles opened fire at them in Korangi number five area.
The victims, identified as Amir and Majid, died on the spot and their bodies were taken to a local hospital.
Meanwhile, funeral prayers of two scouts, killed in a similar shooting incident at Numaish Chowrangi, were offered last night in the Ancholi area of Karachi.
The firing incident that took place after a rally organised by the Ahle Sunnat wal Jamaat intensified the situation of the area as a large number of people resorted to violent protests. Law enforcers managed to disperse the crowd by aerial firing which resulted in eight more people being injured.
On Saturday, the Sindh government imposed a ban on pillion riding ahead of the month of Muharram in an attempt to curb the rising incidents of robberies as well to ensure safety during the month. But even after the imposition of the ban, the incidents of target killings being carried out on motorcycles are being witnessed.
